It is unclear by Xiaomi that what will be different in Redmi 8A to differentiate it from vanilla 8A. Vanilla 8A has which has a 6.22" HD+ LCD with a waterdrop notch, the Snapdragon 439 chipset, 2/3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 12 MP primary camera with 1.4um pixels and f/1.8 aperture, an 8 MP selfie camera, and a 5,000 mAh battery.
As you know, Redmi 8A runs on Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10. MIUI 11 is coming so soon. Perhaps Redmi 8A Pro will run on MIUI 11 from the starting day.
