Xiaomi is slowly gaining his hold on the Indian smartphone market. According to the report, the country's smartphone market has increased by 6% in the fourth quarter of 2017. Meanwhile, Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi sold 82 million smartphones in the Indian market, after which Samsung sold a total of 73 million smartphones. This information was given by Singapore's research company analysis.

According to the news of the news, Samsung, however, raising questions over the report, said that the South Korean giants remain on the top with a lot of margins in the Indian smartphone market.

A spokesperson for Samsung India told IANS: "Germany's research firm GfK tracks phone sales. According to his report, Samsung's market share is 45 percent by value in the previous (November) quarter and on the number of phones sold.

The spokesperson said, "Samsung makes mobile phones in all the ranks and the year 2017, smartphones are the frontrunners in all segments of the business. More importantly, Samsung is India's most trusted brand. We credit our unquestioned leadership to the millions of customers in the market.

According to analysis, VIVO, Oppo, and Lenovo, along with Xiaomi and Samsung, were among the top five companies in the Indian market, and there were a total of 30 million smartphones in the country.

In a statement, Canalis's research analyst Ishan Dutt said, "Multiple factors are offering to the rise of Xiaomi, but the main reason for its success is the autonomy given to its Indian entity, which runs the business locally in its way. '

Xiaomi and Samsung together represent more than 50 percent of India's smartphone market.

Success in Xiaomi India will have a far-reaching effect on the global strategy of the company, and the ambitions of increasing the penetration in the foreign market will be feathered.

Rishabh Doshi, another research analyst, says, "But in 2018 this growth rate will be difficult to maintain."

He said, "As Xiaomi's market share in India has reached a stagnation level, China's market is continuously shrinking. In these markets, it will have to struggle to increase the growth rate. Hence, Xiaomi is expanding its business in other global markets.

Samsung recorded an increase of 27 percent in mobile business in the financial year 2016-17, and its turnover was Rs 34,300 crore.
